Encounter staff have flexibility to work from home as well as from our Enfield office and are expected to monitor their hours so that their lives have a healthy balance of ministry, family, friends, Sabbath and play.

The Youth Pastor is an exciting new position that will lead and oversee youth ministry at Encounter Church
Serving as part of the Encounter Staff Team, their main role is to cast vision, build a team, empower leaders and grow the youth ministry.
This role would suit a leader of leaders with a passion for developing discipleship in teenagers and is based at our Enfield location.
This role is designed as a 1 year contract with a second available for renewal. If successful, it will become a permanent role.
Church Planting Resident
Part Time 0.2FTE
The Church Plant Resident is a position designed to begin a generative, multiplicative church planting pipeline at Encounter Church.
The position is similar to a paid internship; a short-term role where the major function is to learn how to plant an Encounter church by leading groups, discipling interns and being embedded in Encounter culture. They will primarily be based at our Enfield location.
The church planting resident will have opportunities to preach, lead worship and administer pastoral care in line with Uniting Church MoP requirements.
This role would suit a prospective leader of leaders with a heart for evangelism, church planting and developing disciples.
This role is designed as a 1 year contract with the intent to renew for a second before transitioning into a church planting role.
